As Ishaan, a song manufacturer who has commitment problems with the ladies in his life, feels a reference to Gauri, his subsequent-door neighbor, he begins to learn the importance of relationships.
Ishaan (John Abraham) a charismatic, handsome track manufacturer from Mumbai, lives a sheltered existence as the apple of his mother's (Zarina Wahab) eye, usually covered by way of his elder sister Shivani (Mini Mathur). He lives along with his girlfriend Anushka (Chitrangada Singh) and takes her without any consideration. someday Anushka kicks him out of her residence due to his irresponsibility about their dating.

Gauri gets a scholarship to Paris, and Ishaan and Gauri decide to live there after his large launch.
