Gopal (Ajay Devgn), Madhav (Arshad Warsi), lucky (Tusshar Kapoor), Laxman 1 (Shreyas Talpade) and Laxman 2 (Kunal Khemu) are orphans who stay in an orphanage managed through the nice and cozy-hearted businessman Jamnadas (Uday Tikekar), and is located within the picturesque Ooty. Gopal is kind and gullible but awful-tempered, and has a worry of ghosts, which results in his friendship with Laxman 1, who comforts him.
One night, Gopal, Madhav, fortunate and the two Laxmans find a toddler female at the gate of the orphanage. They name her Khushi and cope with her.
